hahaha, krypton factor was ace. Didn't they actually try bringing that back a couple of years ago? got a vague memory but might be wrong.
I'll reveal all at a later date!

I don't recall any Kryton Factors of recent years, but I shall have to consult at least one of my two trustworthy sources: wikipedia and Munch.
Wikipedia says: Since its cancellation, The Krypton Factor has been the subject of persistent rumours of a revival on the BBC. In April 2005, it was widely reported that the BBC would be going ahead with a revival. However, the source of this story turned out to be a misinterpretation of comments by Wayne Garvie, head of BBC's Entertainment Group (and previously the last producer on The Krypton Factor) naming it as the next "TV gem" that should be revived.

Minor update: on Saturday I watched the pilot episode we had been given. It has got me feeling scared - there is a lot of 'humourous' banter at the beginning, followed by ample opportunities to look an idiot in the actual quiz. :o(
