It takes a nation of tossers

That reminds me, I wonder if I can track down the clip like this from Grange Hill where a teacher (Mr Parrott?) says "Get a move on, get a move on, get a m-m-m-m-m-move on".

[It's worth sticking with the clip until the end as well, and not just until the end of the song]

Was that right? I thought it said 'get a move on, get get get a move on' though that may have been a different part of the track. It also reminds me of the mr c recording that max and ob made on hollyoaks years ago (get down with that thing). oh, and 'got to get across' from maid marian. we're back to maid marian, yay. I had my pancakes saturday though so wont be partaking today.

Wowser, I thought only my sister would know what i was on about with the Grange Hill one. You might be right, but my memory of it is 'm-m-m-move on'. I had a quick look on youtube without success. I vaguely remember the Hollyoaks one. I hated Mr C. He was always shouting.

I'm very much looking forward to some pancake action later on.

Why is there an image almost like a bear's face in the top right corner?

I has 3 pancakes yesterday.
I made caramel to go on top of my banana filled pancakes, but it was a bit runny. Think I added too much water at the end. Tasty good though. Any other pancake successes/failures from yesterday?

Now then young Boyle. Are you engaged to be married? My sister said something about that.

I had 3 pancakes yesterday: banana & honey (ace); nutella & marshmallow (not bad); lemon & sugar (classic, but I overdid the lemon a bit). All successful, including one pretty awesome flip. We've got enough batter for some more tonight. Rah!

Em: you're right about the vid, it was far funnier in my head as well. And until someone can prove me wrong with the Grange Hill one then I'm right.

Erm, yeah, I'm afraid the rumours are true. I am engaged to be married.

Emily, apologise to all your friends for me, but I am sadly no longer available :-)

Congratulations son! And they said it would never happen. And guess what, I am too! It's all happening: Mellor gets hitched in a couple of months as well. The sweet maidens of Oldham town will be jamming the Samaritans switchboard now that us 3 are taken ;o)

Bloomin' Nors! I never thought that Tinkin' Tom Ribena was the marrying kind!

Congratulations to you, my friend. Who is the lucky lady?

PS Does she know you knit?
