She always, always eats her greens...

Picked this up in a charity shop last week:

3 for a quid, including the White Town 'Your woman' single. It's now 1996/7 every night in my house.

Without cheating, can anyone* tell me what the 12 reasons were on Jake Shillingford's off the cuff, shopping list of love?

* I say 'anyone', but really it's only going to be Munch isn't it?

It is just me then. They're not in order btw.

Ok:
1. She prefers the night to day
2. She never calls me when she says
3. she ain't got the time to sleep/speak??
4. She leaves the pie and always always eats her greens
5. she says do or die
6. the way she puts her fingers in her mouth
7. running just in time to miss our train
8. her swerving hips and her lips
9. the old park benches where we scratched our names

They were only 11 though, weren't there? It used to annoy me. Yeah, I should do pretty well as I have the album.

Surely there were 12??? I haven't actually listened to it yet but I can think of one more:

Motorcycle riding to the south (that will have come before your #6).

Is the album good? I remember a horrific review of it in the Melody Maker. It was nauseating.

She leaves the pie hahaha

Right, I listened to this last night and at first i thought that you were an idiot: there are 12 reasons. Just like the title says. But then I realised that two of them are the same one. Hmm. Come on Jake. Here they are in order:

1. She prefers the night to day
2. She never calls me when she says
3. Motorcycle riding to the south
4. The way she puts her fingers in her mouth
5. Running just in time to miss our train
6. The old park benches where we scratched our names
7. She says do or die

8. Her swerving hips and her lip service
9. Consumes the hops of all men dressed in black and flesh (!?)
10. Oh she ain't got the time to speak
11. She leaves the pie and always always eats her greens
12. Well, she cries do or die

And there it is, Jake Shillingford's jotted down shopping list of love.

Anyone else fancy jotting down their shopping lists of love?

I do occasionally listen to the album, but it probably is one where I turn the volume down a bit in case the neighbours hear it. make of that what you will. actually, I'll just be straight- its a little bit too heartfelt places. And the one about being a king of kissingdom really is quite bad.

Yes, thats what I mean- 7 and 12 are the same reason.
